Working with cancer patients through the medium of touch, inspired certified aromatherapist, Denise O'Connell,  to create natural skincare products to help soothe and support their skin during treatment.  After 22 years in the clinic room, Denise is now focused on making her range of nurturing skincare products, from her new workshop in the Castle Yard, Kilkenny City.

Denise began her ITEC training in aromatherapy, massage therapy and reflexology in 1997 and has extensive experience of helping clients through the medium of comfort-orientated touch. Denise worked as an outreach therapist with the Solas Centre (Waterford) for a number of years, supporting people at all stages of their cancer journey. This experience led to the setting up of the Cois Nore Cancer Support Centre, Kilkenny, of which Denise is a founding member. Drawing on her twenty years of clinical experience, she took a special interest in supporting people with pain and mobility problems, dealing with issues related to pregnancy, and helping those with special needs. Over the years, Denise has up-skilled her bodywork and aromatherapy education by learning advanced techniques from leading educators such as Hanne Marquardt, Gayle McDonald, Rhiannon Harris, Andrea Butje, Jade Shutes and Madeleine Kerkhof.
In her “spare” time (!), busy Mum Denise sings with the Cairdeas Parkinsons Choir, volunteers with her children’s scout troop and Camogie club, in Kilkenny.

All products in our range are based on Denise’s extensive experience as a practitioner in massage, aromatherapy and reflexology. The products evolved from the skin issues that clients presented with, especially during cancer treatment.  Raw ingredients are ethically sourced, organic or wild crafted wherever possible. All products in the range are safety assessed in line with the EU Cosmetic Directive of 2013.
